Stay Centered Through the Winter

For those of you who haven't joined us for yoga and pilates, we encourage you to come hit the mat. We just added four new classes to help the community stay strong and centered through the winter months, including a Pilates for Surfers core strengthening class twice a week and Chocolate Yoga on Wednesday evenings, offering a spicy cacao beverage to comfort you throughout class.

Paradise offers four weekly classes:
  • Mondays 6:30-7:30pm: Pilates for Surfers
  • Wednesdays 6:30-8pm: Chocolate Yoga (cacao beverage included to warm you through class!)
  • Thursdays 8:30-9:30am: Pilates for Surfers
  • Saturdays 8:30-10am: Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Express your gratitude for the gift of yoga by making a $12 donation for each class. However, we are here to serve the community so no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Special Note: Class will be cancelled Saturday Feb. 13 and Monday Feb. 15 in observance of Valentines Day and President's Day.

We look forward to growing together through practice.

Namaste,

Women of Paradise

Yoga Fridays

For the next few weeks, Paradise Surf Shop will be transformed into a bright and comfortable yoga studio every Friday morning from 8:30-10am. We want to give back to the community this winter season, not only through our customer service but also by starting up a monthly raffle and weekly events and classes to bring people together and nourish the soul.

Meet your Instructor: Marion Clark

Marion comes to Santa Cruz from Hermosa Beach where she spent 10 years as a student and teacher of yoga and pilates. She teaches vinyasa flow that incorporates core pilates strength as well as a connection to the breath or "prana" in each pose.

All you need to bring is your yoga mat and positive energy. The class is by donation so every one is welcome to attend.

The schedule of classes is subject to change as we approach the holidays and the start of the new year. We will inform you once next year's schedule is set.

Hope to see you all this Friday!

Namaste,
The women of Paradise
